REVOIRSOFTWARE

About Us

We make software
worth using.

Revoir Software is an independent software company building thoughtful products at the intersection of modern life and technology. Founded in 2024, we make two things: Revoir Dating Journal, a privacy-first iOS app, and Canviq, a PMF measurement platform for B2B SaaS founders.

We started with a simple belief: most software is built for engagement metrics, not for people. The incentives are wrong — apps are optimized for time-in-app and daily active users, not for whether they actually make your life better. We build the opposite: tools that help you accomplish something real, then step aside.

No venture funding. No growth mandate. That independence shapes every decision we make — we charge fair prices for software that does what it says, and we never need to extract value from users to satisfy investors.

What we believe

What does Revoir Software believe?

Honest by default.

No dark patterns. No manipulative design. We build products that tell the truth — about your data, our limitations, and what the product is actually for.

Privacy as a feature.

We believe your data is yours. Where possible, we keep it on your device. Where we need to store it, we treat it with respect and never sell it.

Focused over feature-rich.

We resist the urge to build everything. Great products do a few things exceptionally well. We'd rather ship something sharp than something sprawling.

Built to last.

We build for the long term. That means sustainable pricing, honest roadmaps, and a commitment to the people who rely on our software.

Our story

How did Revoir Software start?

Revoir Software began with a question: why is the software we use every day so exhausting? Endless notifications, dark patterns designed to keep you scrolling, privacy policies no one reads. Most apps are built to capture attention — and attention capture is at odds with actually being useful.

We started with Revoir Dating Journal — a private space to make sense of modern dating without algorithms or judgment. Everything stays on your device. Zero bytes are ever sent to our servers: not your dates, not your notes, not your patterns. That's not a marketing claim. The app simply doesn't have a backend. It never will.

Then came Canviq, because we kept watching founders ship the wrong things — not because they didn't talk to users, but because the signal was buried in Slack threads and support queues. Canviq runs Sean Ellis PMF surveys, surfaces your most important customers, and turns feedback directly into GitHub and Jira tickets. Plans start at $49 per month, with a 14-day free trial.

Different problems, same philosophy: build something genuinely useful, keep it focused, and treat the people who use it with respect.

Two products. One small team. Founded in 2024, with no venture backing — which keeps our incentives aligned with users, not a cap table. We charge straightforward prices for software that does what it says. When something isn't working, we fix it. When a feature doesn't earn its place, we cut it.
